With every Portococo purchase, you’ll be supporting the afterschool and education programs of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico. Eleven clubs based all over the island serve 12,000 children and youth per year, 90% of whom live in poverty. Boys and Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico serves 1,650 hot meals daily, provides educational enrichment to strengthen reading, math, and Spanish skills, and offers programs in leadership and mentoring, art, science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), sports, entrepreneurship, and healthy habits. Ninety-six percent of education program participants successfully graduate from high school!
